Dean Tseretopoulos, VP Carrier and Gateway Business

Dean has 13 years of wireless industry experience including more than eight with us (he joined as MyThum's second employee in 2002). As our expert in carrier relations and network aggregation services, Dean has been instrumental in developing many new business opportunities for our clients beginning with North America's first multi-carrier and cross-border premium SMS programs in 2003, followed by Canada's first mobile commerce initiative in 2004. More recently, Dean spearheaded the launch of Canada's first mobile donations program in 2009.

Prior to MyThum (now OLSON mobile), Dean spent five years at Canadian national wireless operator Microcell Telecommunications (currently Fido Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rogers Wireless), where he was part of the group that launched inter-carrier SMS messaging and the common short code program that first established mobile marketing in Canada. He also managed Fido's voice and data Mobile Virtual Network Operator service offering.

Dean holds an MBA from Dalhousie University and a BSc from McMaster University.
