Client Objective Ford and Lincoln were interested in extending their Genuine Parts &
Service special offers to mobile, delivering the offers by SMS to a database of customers.
Solution In partnership with Quattro Wireless, we set up dedicated SMS short codes 4FORD and 4LINC across all major US wireless networks. Customers could opt in to
databases and receive information via SMS by sending a keyword to the short code. Multiple keywords were used to track database acquisition across various communication channels. We also provide
weekly reporting of subscribers by region and database group.
Results As of April 2010, there were more than 10,000 customers in the Ford and Lincoln mobile databases.
